Bush: Intelligent Design Should Be Taught

Christian conservatives — a substantial part of Bush's voting base — have been pushing for the teaching of intelligent design in public schools. Scientists have rejected the theory as an attempt to force religion into science education.

Let us remember that there are multiple theories of Intelligent Design. I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. It was He who created all that we see and all that we feel. We feel strongly that the overwhelming scientific evidence pointing towards evolutionary processes is nothing but a coincidence, put in place by Him....I think we can all look forward to the time when these three theories are given equal time in our science classrooms across the country, and eventually the world; One third time for Intelligent Design, one third time for Flying Spaghetti Monsterism, and one third time for logical conjecture based on overwhelming observable evidence.

There are many reasons not to go to Kansas. I personally hate driving across the state due to its grassy monotony. Kansas sympathisers will claim that the state is not flat. They will say their state is beautiful. Don't believe them. Just don't. Kansas is the drainage ditch of the past. Kansas is historical run-off. I love the Discovery Channel.

A few months ago, while severely dehydrated to the point of near hallucination, I decided to give Kansas another chance. I drove into the state with some friends and camped for a while. We heard some good music. We met some good people (not from Kansas). We had fun. We got devestated by chiggers.

You might say that you can get chiggers in other states. This is true. I don't care. Stay away from Kansas.

HEY! Im back. Its been a while since the last post on this website. Ive been pretty busy finishing my masters degree (yay!). Ive been living in OH for the last 3 months and it has been a fun time. I made some good friends up here and will miss them. Im moving out to Phoenix, I will be missing my east coast and midwest friends a lot. PHX is only 13 hours from Frisco, CO, so Ill be "near" Brian (bro) and Shelly.

Before I move to PHX, Nate and I are tearing through Europe...starting on July 4 and ending on Aug 5. I took French in high school and Nate took Spanish. I can only assume that we will fit in and not look like tourists. I guess I should leave my American flag underwear at home.

Anyway, Im hungover. Must sleep.
