There are many reasons not to go to Kansas. I personally hate driving across the state due to its grassy monotony. Kansas sympathisers will claim that the state is not flat. They will say their state is beautiful. Don't believe them. Just don't. Kansas is the drainage ditch of the past. Kansas is historical run-off. I love the Discovery Channel.

A few months ago, while severely dehydrated to the point of near hallucination, I decided to give Kansas another chance. I drove into the state with some friends and camped for a while. We heard some good music. We met some good people (not from Kansas). We had fun. We got devestated by chiggers.

You might say that you can get chiggers in other states. This is true. I don't care. Stay away from Kansas.

HEY! Im back. Its been a while since the last post on this website. Ive been pretty busy finishing my masters degree (yay!). Ive been living in OH for the last 3 months and it has been a fun time. I made some good friends up here and will miss them. Im moving out to Phoenix, I will be missing my east coast and midwest friends a lot. PHX is only 13 hours from Frisco, CO, so Ill be "near" Brian (bro) and Shelly.

Before I move to PHX, Nate and I are tearing through Europe...starting on July 4 and ending on Aug 5. I took French in high school and Nate took Spanish. I can only assume that we will fit in and not look like tourists. I guess I should leave my American flag underwear at home.

Anyway, Im hungover. Must sleep.

I just saw the latest installment of Star Wars and no, this is not a movie review. I'm just frustrated with the movie industry due to their insulting portrayal of space in films. Next time you watch a movie with a scene in space think about gravity, acceleration, and Hollywood induced drag and sound. It’s redonkulous.

oh man its a great time to be a nerd. i was checking out some some ps3 crap on the web and came around this video from a E3 sony conference. check it out. its pretty rad and makes me drool.

i got back from my psuedo graduation the other day. it was good to see the family and the amigos down in blacksburg. i recently found that i want to kick some fools in the balls. hopefully this will be fulfilled someday.

either way. im back in ohio and life cant be better. im trying to become a better musician so ive been playing more tunes. im looking forward to rocking my pants off one day at a shitty night club. i should have brought my amp up here bri. son of an ass monkey.

snoochie boochie mofos! just to let everyone know, im living in boring as dayton ohio. i sucks and never come here. unless you want to jump off a bridge.

anyway, i went to this bar called WO Wrights (Wilbur and Orvell) tonight. It was decent. I was happy that there were some bands there that were playing generic rock music. i find it pretty interesting what level of musical prowess you must posses to play in a rock band. Just by looking at the bands tonight, it seems to be more stage prescene than musical talent.

top five bands i want to see:
(1) robert randolph & the family band
(2) sts9
(3) galactic
(4) keller williams
(5) black keys

ive never seen the red hot chili peppers so id i most defeinitely want to see them. If I get a chance again, I will surely see Bela Fleck and the Flectones and Beck. Each of the shoes I've been too were my top two (Bela Fleck for the tunes, Beck for all the Sierra Nevada. tunes were good too).

anyway, must sleep/ im working tomorrow. but im going in late boooya.

I drank some tequila to celebrate the century(+) old froggy ass kicking provided by our mexican neighbors. I think I just crapped my pants - no worries though, I rarely leave the house. This is explains why I'm currently watching "The Cell" which is of the same mind boggling quality as Gigli (for a second I considered a comparison to Anaconda but then I remembered Ice Cube is hilarious - remember when the giant snake puked up the crazy river guide? that was funny too) even though the two flicks could not be farther apart in terms of content. Regardless, I'm muy stupido for sitting through two hours of this skid mark. Honestly, my soiled underoos are more satisfying. Ah well. Such a sweet ace.

Ok so I just finished this book called High Fidelity by Nick Hornsby. Its about this mid-thirtys guy who struggles with settling down in a relationship. I thought it was a pretty good book. A lot of guys can related to the main character, Rob, our protaganist amigo. Here is a humorous excerpt from the book:

(Just to let you know, Rob was recently dumped by Laura, his old girlfriend, for a new chap)

R: "Is it better?"
L:"Is what better? Is it better than what?
R: "Well. Sex, I guess. Is the sex better with him?
L:"Jesus Christ Rob. Is that what really is bothering you?"
